The Nike Dunk Low is one of the exceptional models of Nike for both sneakerheads and those who just look for a casual kick to wear. The sneaker possesses classic look yet could be worn with any attire. Now, we have here another edition of the timeless silhouette featuring a simple colorway. The upper is done in a predominantly black suede with gold accents applied in the side panel revealing the black swoosh. The refined hits of white used in the tongue tab and outsole may not be that noticeable but definitely created a nice contrast. There’s no word yet at the moment as to when is the exact release date but expect this to drop soon. For the meantime take a look at the photos for a clearer detail of the shoe.

Matt Hardigree over at Jalopnik happened to get his hands on a pair of the 2010 DeLorean Nike Dunk 6.0 before the rest of us, and was kind enough to put them through a review. As previously mentioned, the shoe uses a matte silver over the upper that is accented with black lines. Unlike traditional dunks, the DeLorean Dunk lacks stitching on the upper and is one complete piece. Down below we get a black outsole, which is complimented by the black laces and insole. Additional details include a DMC embossed on the heel, and a Belfast stamp on the tongue, and ode to the DeLorean’s original construction in Ireland. DMC and Nike also went all out with a special box to house the shoes. The box mimics the doors of the DeLorean, and opens upward on each side.

This Women Nike Dunks Christmas Edition was fairly popular in the skateboarding scene, and the Dunk soon became a popular shoe for skaters due to the stability and lower profile sole which improved grounding performance. In 2002, Nike created a Dunk specifically for skateboarders, known as the Nike Dunk SB. It features an extra-padded “puffy tongue” (common among skateboarding sneakers) and Nike’s patented Zoom Air insole. Since then, the SB Dunk has become a popular icon for enthusiastic sneaker-collectors, and has hit the streetwear fashion scene. Nike currently collaborates with many designers to create special edition and collectible Dunks. The popularitiy of these dunks has grown so wide that it has prompted Nike to create many other kinds of shoes specifically for skateboarding such Paul Rodriguez’s, Tre’s, Blazer’s, and Team Editions to name a few. These shoes mimic the colorways and limited quantities of that of Nike Dunk Sb’s, which increases their value and appeal.
