Dez is one of the six lucky artists who were able to catch the eye

Dez Do The Dew Nike Dunk for Red Label Art Event come in a very cheery pastel theme. Artist Dez created these custom dunks with a Mountain Dew theme to go along with his Mountain Dew Green Label Art tundra bottle. Thats right, Dez is one of the six lucky artists who were able to catch the eye of the people at Mountain Dew during the Green Label Art design contest. An award of this nature is more then enough to celebrate seeing how Dez was added to the list with legendary artists such as Haze. So to take things one step further, and to celebrate the award, Dez went ahead and put together the Do The Dew red.

One of the sneakers says ‘Do The Dew’ and the other sneaker says ‘Dunk The Dew’ and both are done in a stylish graffiti font. These Nike Dunks sneakers are so fresh and so clean that you would believe they were straight from the factory with a paint job like that. Do The Dew red is great. The fading between the 2 shades of red is mint, and the splatter effect on the back gives it a nice little touch that you may not notice at first. There’s nothing better than an Do The Dew red in the winter.

This particular Nike Dunk High pair features varsity red nubuck throughout most of the upper, contrasted by black mesh and accented with white on the Swoosh. If you weren’t around back then to get your hands on a pair, or if you were and you just grew out of them, you’ll have your chance to grab Hideo Nomo’s former signature sneaker when it’s reissued in 2011. Nike will be bringing back the Nike Air Max NM Nomo in two original colorways, one of which is shown here. The midsole starts with white and uses black to fill in the areas around the visible, yellow Air Max unit. At this time an official release date has not been mentioned, although it is expected that the Nike Air Max NM Nomo will return during the Spring of 2011.
