Nike SB’s latest performance-driven model

13 Apr

Nike SB’s latest performance-driven model, the SB Zoom FP will be available in an all new colorway this month. Constructed of ultra-lightweight materials, the Nike Super Blazer Low Year Of Tiger is Nike SB’s lightest shoe yet. Luckily enough, this month we’ll be treated to Nike SB’s latest technological advances in a simple obsidian and black color combination. Obsidian, works most of the synthetic upper, with black taking place along the ankle area and outsole. Additionally, white is seen adding some contrast on the laces, midsole and branding throughout.

The all-white sneaker is without a doubt one of the most popular colorways of all time, but there are definitely a number of hardcore sneakerheads who just can’t do the all-white motif. It’s understandable, because we use our feet to display all sorts of colors and designs, and all-white might be a ‘missed opportunity’ in that sense. Nike Dunk High changes that with the ‘White Pack’, a series of classic and all-new silhouettes re-done in a angelic tonal-white colorway with translucent outsoles for that walking-on-water appeal. The new Nike Lunar Vengeance Terra is also included in the Nike Sportswear White Pack, and we’ve got additional images for you below, so take a peek and let us know what you think.

In early December of last year, Sneaker News showed you a rare unreleased sample of the Nike SB Dunk High dubbed ‘distressed’, for the treatment given to the suede material on the upper. These new images of a brand new pair shed more light on this unreleased sample from 2003, which shows the distressed (or ‘destressed’ for this pair) suede material in its original, pre-worn form. Whether its set to mimic worn-out suede, or an attempt to make an all-new material, we certainly are distressed that these never did release. Something like cross between the Tweed, Maple, and Wheat Highs, perhaps these were all too similar to other releases at the time. Check out the new images below and let us know if you would have copped these if a release occurred.
