Nike Sportswear issued a series of nylon Vandal Dunks

31 Mar

Though November’s Nike SB releases are still making their way into Nike SB accounts, we will fast forward to look at next month’s Nike SB Dunk High release. The Wheat/Obsidian/Red/Gum Nike SB Dunk High is set to release in December at Nike SB accounts. The December 2010 Nike SB Dunk High features a suede upper with a color mix that includes Wheat, Obsidian, and Red. The upper sits on a White midsole and Gum outsole. Owners of the once super-expensive Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Loon’ samples are now doubly peeved, with their kicks not only losing value with a pending wide release, but the new joints are constructed better too!  Here’s one of those times you love to see; when the production model offers significant improvements on the originals. The 2004 sample SB Dunk Low ‘Loon’ featured printed dots, whereas the upcoming pairs have theirs embroidered into the rich black suede overlay.  The end result is a unique design that we’re glad to see come to retail, so click the jump below for more images and stick with Sneaker News so we can scoop you as soon as these are available.

If I were you, I would be looking for something new that will not only provide me warmth on winter but also stylishness such as the newest winter footwear from Nike, Glow in the Dark Nike Dunks High. Glow in the Dark Nike Dunks comes in a Black/Electric Green/White colors. Although it’s a little passed Halloween, I and several other sneakerheads alike would agree that any time is a good time for glow-in-the-dark kicks. Unfortunately for some, the Glow in the Dark Nike Dunks pictured here with the aforementioned feature comes only in Grade School sizes. Like a recently released Nike Air Max Griffey GD II, this Nike Dunk comes with black and electric green along the upper. It also comes with an all-white sole and green stitching. Are you fed up of the usual boots that you’ve been wearing every winter? These Glow in the Dark Nike Dunks are also great for your winter.

This new Nike Dunk High Custom Octopus Purple for kids aren’t based on that style, but if you take em out at night, there’s definitely a bit of the Vandal vibe going on. For a brief period in late 2008 and early 2009, Nike Sportswear issued a series of nylon Vandal Dunks that successfully combined two of the more successful kicks in the preceding years. That’s cos these Glow in the Dark Nike Dunks have select glow in the dark elements, namely the outline of each overlay section that will appear as a sort of ‘piping’ under the right conditions. And even in the clearest afternoon sun, you can’t go wrong with a black/neon colorway, and they’re yours for the taking from NSW retailers.
