Pieces from the Nike SB Fall 2010 Collection have started to arrive at retailers and among some of the items being distributed is this new Dunk High Premium. The sneakers feature a mostly subdued design with a deep burgundy colored upper constructed from canvas, a black Swoosh stitched from leather and a white midsole paired with a gum outersole. A strong contrasting shade of blue appears on the laces and can also be spotted worked into the logo on the tongue tag. Custom kicks are truly an art form. It’s applying an inspired vision over a not so blank canvas and at times that can either hinder or help a design. While we are not sure what base color way that Swavey got his hands on we do know that he made the most of it. Inspired by the Nike Dunk High Pro Sb Medicom Bearbrick show in Las Vegas these “Beatles Love” customs feature a yellow base and a sort of inverted rainbow swooping from under the patent leather swoosh. These were all hand painted with no stencils used and if you ask us that makes them even better.
