It’s almost officially here. Eric Koston’s first pro model shoe with Nike SB Zoom Kobe is seen here in the most detailed look from the brand we see the variety of colorways and details that makeup the shoe. Following the influence of Stefan Janoski and Kobe Bryant the shoe will be a lowcut shoe that features Nike technology for comfort, durability and rideability. The most interesting addition is going to be the Lunarlon cushioned insole. From the images we also realize that not only did Koston take the low-cut look from the Black Mamba but he took a classic Laker’s colorway as well as a hybrid shoe. We see Zoom Kobe VI upper placed on a Zoom Koston One sole, one of the most unique hybrid’s ever as it takes from two different sports. Keep your eyes peeled for the shoe to be hitting your favorite Nike Dunks dealers worldwide soon.
Here is the most complete look at Nike Skateboarding‘s next pro-signature model, the Koston One. The shoe itself had its share of speculation and rumor ever since Eric Koston himself twit about it, the new design features many of the same Nike SB Zoom traits as others – clean streamlined design, vulcanized outsole, an updated tread patterns for grip, reinforced stress point for kicks and flips. One particularly feature (and the one that got everyone talking about) is its removable Zoom Lunarlon insole. Could it translate to other Nike SB product designs in the near future? An interesting hypothesis for the time being. The Nike SB Koston One will be available in the coming months along with a Zoom Kobe VI “Black Mamba” inspired edition.
Here’s a quick glimpse at the full collection for the all-new pro-model Nike SB Eric Koston. With a simple design, the sneaker combines high quality materials with advanced technology (like a thick, removable Zoom Lunaron insole) for a shoe that’s both lightweight and comfortable. Designed in a total of six different colorways, the sneaker should be available through select Nike SB Zoom Omar Salazar retailers within the next few months. Long anticipating and Lunar cushioned, the Koston One is set to introduce Nike’s beloved tooling to the skate world. Who better to help do it than legend Eric Koston? The first SB signature for Koston since signing with the Swoosh in 2008, this sneaker features a clean upper, complete with bolstered toe cap and as previously mentioned, a removable Lunarlon foot bed. Seen here are six colorways expected to land soon, including a Nike Zoom Kobe-Black-Mediumseagreen-Yellow-inspire makeup. Koston’s a devout Lakers fan, and the Kobe colorway makes for a pretty good crossover look on this silhouette.
